Limitless Grounds: CorMission Coffee Shop

Coffee shops are often more than a place to grab a drink—they’re spaces for connection, comfort, and community. CorMission’s coffee shop, which opened in March 2025, embraces all of that and more. It’s a welcoming gathering place where people can enjoy great food and coffee while supporting meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Mission/Purpose

In addition to serving breakfast, lunch, and daily specials, the coffee shop provides valuable employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The team members greet customers with warmth and positivity, creating an atmosphere that reflects the heart of CorMission’s work.

Menu & Specialities

The menu at the coffee shop includes a wide range of coffee drinks, smoothies, pastries, and fresh breakfast and lunch options. Guests can enjoy sandwiches, wraps, pizza, soup, and rotating daily specials. Muffins, cookies, and other pastries add to the variety. Whether you’re stopping in for a breakfast sandwich with your morning coffee or a wrap and smoothie at lunchtime, there’s something for everyone.

Meet the Team

The employees at coffee shop take on a variety of responsibilities throughout the week and contribute to the shop’s welcoming environment. They interact warmly with customers and build strong relationships with the community. Their dedication and enthusiasm help make the coffee shop a positive place for both customers and staff.

Tyresha

Tyresha brings positive energy to the shop every day. She helps with pizza delivery, works the register, prepares sandwiches, and bakes pastries such as chocolate muffins. She takes pride in being dependable and enjoys creating a friendly, welcoming space for customers. Her favorite menu item is the BLT sandwich.

Claire

Claire assists with entering customer orders and supports a variety of tasks around the shop. Working here has helped her continue building her independence and confidence. She enjoys interacting with customers and appreciates the opportunity to grow her skills. Her favorite menu item is the pizza.

Maddie

Maddie plays an important role at the coffee shop, taking orders, preparing pizzas, and helping with cleaning tasks. She especially enjoys Fridays, when she often makes around 40 pizzas. Known for her kindness and strong work ethic, Maddie is also a proud coffee lover. Her favorite menu items include the Grilled Cheese and the Animal Cookie Latte.

Personal Experience

Even though I’m not a coffee drinker, I always find something delicious at the coffee shop.. I first visited in June 2025 and immediately loved the warm, inviting atmosphere—including a fun “Friends”-themed wall that adds extra charm. The lunch menu offers fresh sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, and specials, along with smoothies that are simple, healthy, and tasty. My personal favorite is the LEAH Wrap, made with turkey, provolone, tomato, avocado, and sriracha mayo. I visit the shop several times a month and highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and a welcoming environment.
